Purpose: |
This course provides training using a high fidelity
computerized mannequin on how to safely provide sedation and
analgesia for non-anesthesiology sedation providers. The simulator
presents challenging scenarios which allow sedation providers
to design appropriate sedation plans, and test their rescue abilities
in situation similar to those they may encounter in their own
work environment.

Fundamentals
of Airway Management II

Purpose: |
To obtain basic training
in tools and techniques for uncomplicated endotracheal intubation
and bail-out with combi tube. LMA insertion will also be taught.

Purpose: |
Training in ASA difficult
airway algorithm techniques for position, alternate direct laryngoscopy,
bail-out techniques, Fibroptic intubation, Bougie blind, Ballard,
Glide scope, and percutaneous cricothyrotomy.
